Picture of the Week 10 – Welcome to Plala

It’s the 10th week of doing Picture of the Week, and I haven’t missed one yet. Here is a picture of Sugita’s Plala shopping centre, which also has a condo building on top.

Bon-odori dance in Sugita

While I was at work, there was a Bon-odori dance happening in Plala.  Luckily, I had my camera, and just caught the end of the dance.  Sorry it’s not very long.  This was the very end of the dancing.

It’s the O-bon season right now when many people go on holiday to see their family and pay their respects to their ancestors.

More Tanabata

Nothing is happening yet for Tanabata. It’s too early. But here are a couple more festival decoration pictures.

Tanabata

It’s the time of year for Tanabata, or the star festival. Outside my school, there are many decorations. Here they are!
