Flashback: Sugita in April 2005

I arrived in Japan on April 13, 2005.  My first apartment was in Sugita, which is in Isogo Ward in Yokohama.  I lived way at the top of a hill and had a great view from my apartment.  However, the apartment was kind of old.  I lived there for 1 1/2 years, then moved to my present apartment in Kamakura.  It’s much better and much newer.  Here are the first two pictures I took in Japan.  They’re from my apartment.

From my old apartment, I had a view of Yokohama Port, which is a very large industrial port, one of the largest in Japan.
