It’s getting close to the time of the year for Tanabata, or the Star Festival. I’d already posted a picture about this last year, but I think this picture is much better. Tanabata is on July 7th.

I forgot that most of Japan celebrates Tanabata in the beginning of July. Sendai celebrates in the middle of August.
I’ve heard of that. I forgot about it, though. But I’ve heard of it.
Tanabata festivals are indeed very colorful – but then, I find most Japanese festivals are quite colorful.
Love all the colorsl I suppose there will be a lot more to see.
